LandLock Nanocrete

LANDLOCK Nanocrete - dry gas concrete mixture for the production of autoclaved aerated concrete

A two-component mix for production of non-autoclave lightweight thermo- and hydro-insulating, acoustic-proof, fire resistant cellular concrete used in monolithic concrete structures building.

Cutting edge applications of emerging nanotechnologies combined with high-quality raw materials selection provides an opportunity to innovate non-autoclave lightweight cellular concrete, surpassing in all its properties all available types of lightweight concrete (including autoclave aerated concrete and foam concrete) and exceeding existing British and European Standards requirements which are there for lightweight cellular concrete.

LANDLOCK NANOCRETE MERITS

Remarkable Durability. This brand-new material is highly durable. It doesn’t deteriorate when exposed to light, moisture, high temperatures, it is weather-, UV-rays-resistant, and as opposed to some other materials, its physical and mechanical properties improve over time. It has proved durable for more than 100 cycles (winter-summer) and it keeps intact throughout this period of time. That’s why this material should be named as ‘perpetual material’. In comparison with some other materials: durability of heavy concrete is 50 cycles, and it is 35 cycles for bricks.

Unique Thermo-Insulating Quality. Equal size and absolute isolation of cells, filled with gas, their even distribution throughout the whole of the material gives an excellent life-time thermo-insulating quality to it, be it exposed to cycles of freezing and thawing. No need to do any additional thermal insulation if LANDLOCK Nanocrete is applied to building’s external walls.

Impressive Moisture Resistance.Equal size and absolute isolation of cells, filled with gas, their even distribution throughout the whole of the material gives an excellent life-time thermo-insulating quality to it, be it exposed to cycles of freezing and thawing. No need to do any additional thermal insulation if LANDLOCK Nanocrete is applied to building’s external walls.

Impressive Moisture Resistance. Due to bounded nature of cells, LANDLOCK Nanocrete does not absorb moisture and, accordingly, has hydro-insulating quality. For instance, commonly known autoclave aerated concrete (AAC) has 25-30% moisture absorption rate determined by dry weight. That is why applying LANDLOCK Nanocrete to external and internal walls provides protection against weather or aggressive conditions. Underground walls (pools, basements) do not require vertical hydro-insulation. LANDLOCK Nanocrete is perfectly suitable for construction of sanitary rooms partitions, rooms with high moisture accumulation, reservoirs, pools, storage facilities.

High Compressive Strength. This is a very significant quality for any construction material.

Plasticity. This property saves from material cracking and deterioration.

Acoustic Protection. LANDLOCK Nanocrete has a 10 times higher acoustic & sound-proof rate that brick walls have. The average level of LANDLOCK Nanocrete acoustic proofing is 45dB. It makes its application very effective for acoustic-proofing of living space.

Steam Permeability Good steam permeability allows building walls to ‘breathe’ outwards. It controls moisture and maintains proper humidity levels inside the building and creates comfortable micro-climate, close to one that wooden house has.

Fire Resistance LANDLOCK Nanocrete is fully fire-resistant and even fire protective. It doesn’t catch fire under any circumstances, doesn’t become burning hot even when exposed to flames. The material can be applied for arranging fire protection grade for steel structures, partitions, etc.

Fluidity and Leakproofness. Initial after-watering fluid consistency of LANDLOCK Nanocrete mixture allows the deep penetration of all gaps, cracks, joints, seams, which provides their leaktightness after expansion and curing.

Sustainability. The material is the second most sustainable one (second to wood), but it doesn’t rot and is wear-resistant. When air passes through LANDLOCK Nanocrete, the content of radioactive isotopes of cesium, strontium, and other heavy metals and salts decreases by 25-50 times. LANDLOCK does not absorb radiation and the activity of its own radio nuclides is 3.5 times less than required.

Indoor And Outdoor Environment Quality. LANDLOCK Nanocrete is not affected by fungus, mould, insects and microorganisms.

Light Weight. LANDLOCK Nanocrete weight is 5 times less than commonly known concrete has. This gives an opportunity to reduce the total weight of building and cut expenses for building foundation, structures and material handling process.

LANDLOCK NANOCRETE APPLICATION

Due to its outstanding properties, the dry mix which is used for LANDLOCK Nanocrete production has a wide range of application. It can be applied alongside with other materials or separately for production of any construction elements, mentioned below.

LANDLOCK Construction System

NLANDLOCK Nanocrete numerous advantages allow it to be applied for efficient construction of thermo-insulated monolithic walls, slabs and partitions using lost-shuttering made of LANDLOCK Nanocrete

This method has the following advantages:

  • No need for any thermo-insulation;
  • Shattering material is highly efficient and allows to create various architectural patterns;
  • Flat surface of shattering material saves from any additional ‘wet’ works on the surface such as plastering, filling, primary coating.
  • No need for heavy lifting equipment;
  • High efficiency with low labour cost, operating costs saving and no need for a number of construction material types, construction process expedited.
  • High level of fire protection;
  • Reduction of maintenance costs as there is no need for walls repair, building cooling cost-effectiveness;
  • Bearing and non-bearing walls, horizontal slabs, partitions could be produced with LANDLOCK Nanocrete.

CONSTRUCTION OF FLOOR AND SCREEDS AND ROOFINGS

The application of Nanocrete in floor pavements construction and flat roofs allows to solve three tasks with the help of only one construction material: hydro-, sound-, and thermo-insulation. Moreover Nanocrete application provides durability, light weight and expenses reduction.

The technological process of floor pavements and flat roofs grouting is simple enough in terms of application; it’s comfortable, efficient, and helps to reduce labour costs, quantity of applied materials and is less time consuming.

ALL ARCHITECTURAL AND DECORATIVE FORMS

The material is successfully used for small architectural and decorative forms because of light weight, colour options, easy forming. Besides that the material is used for outside decorative wall elements production.
